[Nicole explains]: “The title The Hard Sell came to me in New York when I was walking through the financial district and this woman caught my eye. She was immaculately dressed in conservative attire. Andy Hamilton from the Wire magazine reviews Reparation
" There was a raw vulnerability in Hodkinson's inert figure, prone at first as if in hibernation, and very gradually coming to life, her small gestures reflected in minimal percussion by Mico. The result was an intensely considered work, an expressionist representation performed on impulse with freedom. This compelling site-specific exploration offered a vision of darkness but ultimately of hope".
